Production is about to wrap on actor and filmmaker Robin Dunne’s murderous new thriller, Kill Victoria.
The feature-length horror-thriller, written and directed by Dunne (pictured), began principal photography on July 31 in Kingston, Ont., and is scheduled to wrap Monday (Aug. 14).
Dunne is also among the film’s ensemble cast, which includes Laura Vandervoort (Sullivan’s Crossing), Sara Canning (Nancy Drew), Gia Sandhu (Star Trek: Strange New Worlds), Michael Xavier (The Expanse) and Aaron Poole (Most Dangerous Game).
Robert Vaughn and Lewis Chesler are producing the film, with Chesler/Perlmutter Productions financing. The film’s budget was not disclosed.
Kill Victoria is a tale of cottage country fun gone wrong, where a recently engaged man’s group of friends take a joke to kill his unwelcome fiancée too far after certain secrets are threatened to be exposed.
Dunne and Sandhu are represented by Jennifer Goldhar of The Characters Talent Agency, Vandervoort is repped by Julia Schneider at Ambition Talent, Canning is repped by Jamie Levitt of Lauren Levitt & Associates, Xavier is repped by Michael White of The Characters, and Poole is repped by Larissa Giroux of Oscars Abrams Zimel & Associates.
