Hot Sheet: Star Trek: Strange New Worlds continues to lead demand

Meanwhile, Disney+'s Secret Invasion moved to the second spot on both the digital original and overall TV charts.

Paramount+’s Star Trek: Strange New Worlds continued its supremacy on the demand charts in Canada, keeping its top spot on both digital originals and the overall TV lists from the previous week.

Star Trek: Strange New Worlds gained just over a point from the previous week and was 29.33 times more in demand than the average TV series in Canada for the week of July 17 to 23, according to Parrot Analytics. The series streams on Crave and airs on Bell Media’s CTV Sci-Fi Channel in Canada.

Netflix’s fantasy drama The Witcher (21.13) lost nearly five demand points from the previous week and its second spot on both charts to Disney+’s Secret Invasion (26.61) which moved up from No. 3.

Apple TV+’s Foundation re-entered the digital original list, coming in at No. 8 with an average of 16.28 demand points. Crave’s Letterkenny (18.62) moved one spot up to No. 5 despite a slight dip in demand.

On the TV chart, Max’s Sesame Street (23.21) jumped up from No. 5 to the third spot while Japanese anime series Jujutsu Kaisen (21.67) moved to No. 4 from the sixth spot. NBC’s Saturday Night Live (19.37) returned to the list at No. 8.

For example, a difference of 1x represents the market average and 10x means a series is 10 times more in demand than the average TV show in this market.
