Toronto-based consultancy firm Bizable Media has promoted Brittany Ryan (pictured) to the role of B.C. lead as it looks to expand its services in the province.
Ryan, who previously served as business affairs associate, will be based in Vancouver. She will focus on delivering business affairs and support services to B.C. producers, helping them navigate the “financial and contractual requirements” of their productions, said a news release.
Ryan will continue to provide consulting services to existing B.C. clients while “selectively expanding Bizable’s services to other independent producers in the province,” said the release.
“I have always believed that it is essential to give artists as much space as they need to create, and to do so, I have happily taken on the financial and business responsibilities,” said Ryan in a statement.
Bizable provides consulting services to independent producers across Canada.
Janice Dawe, president, Bizable Media, said Ryan’s “understanding of the creative process, experience in physical production and expertise in business affairs has made her a valuable member of the Bizable team, and now a real asset to producers based in B.C.”
