It was mission accomplished for Prime Video’s spy series Citadel as it broke into the digital originals demand chart in Canada at No. 4.
Citadel, produced by Amazon Studios and AGBO and starring Richard Madden and Priyanka Chopra, was 18.76 times more in demand than the average TV series in Canada for the week of May 1 to 7, according to Parrot Analytics.
It’s now hot on the heels of Crave’s Letterkenny (20.26; New Metric Media), which moved one spot up from last week to take the third position from Paramount+’s Star Trek: Picard (17.02). The latter series, which streams on Crave in Canada, lost more than eight points to drop to No. 6 on the digital chart.
Apple TV+’s Ted Lasso (29.73) and Disney+’s The Mandalorian (27.26), held on to their first and second spots, even with a slight dip in demand compared to the previous week.
Netflix’s Shadow and Bone (13.38) and HBO Max’s Titans (13.37), which streams its series finale in the U.S. on Thursday (May 11), re-entered the digital chart at No. 9 and 10, respectively.
In the overall TV chart, Showtime’s Vancouver-shot Yellowjackets, which also streams on Crave, was the most in-demand show with an average of 31.46. It pushed Ted Lasso, which lost more than two points, down from the top spot to No. 3. HBO’s Succession (31.11) maintained its second spot.
TVOKids’ Paw Patrol moved up from No. 9 to No. 7, with an average of 23, while Nickelodeon’s SpongeBob SquarePants re-entered the list at No. 8, with an average of 21.61 points.

Parrot Analytics calculates its Top 10 lists using Demand Expressions, which are shown by using a metric that demonstrates how much more in-demand the top series are than the average TV show (linear, pay TV, SVOD and AVOD) in Canada. For example, a difference of 1x represents the market average and 10x means a series is 10 times more in demand than the average TV show in this market.
