Florida-based theme park operator Falcon’s Beyond is continuing its fast-track into the 360 brand space, inking a new two-way content deal with Bron Studios.
The development and production deal will see the Vancouver-based prodco adapt Falcon’s Katmandu theme park brand as an animated TV series and several movies.
Meanwhile, Falcon’s Beyond will bring Bron’s IP into its location-based entertainment experiences, video games and consumer products. The first such translation focuses on Bron’s animated TV series Gossamer (pictured).
The partnership will “leverage our complementary areas of expertise to create new opportunities for ongoing fan loyalty and engagement for our respective brands and IPs,” said Falcon’s Beyond CEO Cecil D. Magpuri in a statement.
Falcon’s Beyond is launching a Katmandu theme park in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic in late 2022 or early 2023, and has been busy bringing other companies into the live event market. The company partnered with Moonbug back in May to launch the CoComelon and Blippi brands as live and interactive experiences.
