Canadian viewers can’t seem to get enough of the Upside Down.

Netflix’s Stranger Things has held onto its No. 1 slot on both the top 10 digital originals and overall TV demand lists with little sign of a slowdown.

The global phenomenon was 132.86 times more in demand than the average TV series in Canada for July 11 to 17, according to Parrot Analytics. That number is four times higher than the second-highest ranking series, Prime Video’s The Boys (32.87), and came in only slightly lower than last week’s all-time record of 141.12.

The Boys is among four Ontario-shot series to remain on the digital originals list. Paramount+ series finale of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds (21.59) came in at No. 4; Netflix’s The Umbrella Academy (18.49) ranked at No. 8; and Hulu original The Handmaid’s Tale (17.65) at No. 10.

Rounding out the top five of the digital list is Hulu’s Only Murders in the Building (23.26), which stars Canadian comedy veteran Martin Short, Selena Gomez, and Steve Martin, at No. 3, while Disney+ series The Mandalorian (20.1) came in at No. 5.

In the overall TV series demand list, Nickelodeon’s SpongeBob SquarePants (32.76) ranked at No. 3, followed by AMC’s Better Call Saul (31.44). Coming in fifth is NBC’s Saturday Night Live (25.85).
