The Big Brother Canada season 10 finale was the only Canadian series to make Numeris’s national top 30 programs between May 2 to 8, coming in at No. 25.
The Global reality competition series, produced by Boat Rocker-owned Insight Productions, attracted 835,000 viewers, according to Numeris.
The top 30 list was led by U.S. competition series Survivor, with more than 1.544 million viewers on Global, followed closely by the Vancouver-shot American scripted drama The Good Doctor, with 1.541 million viewers on CTV.
Radio-Canada’s Guy Lepage-led talk show Tout le monde en parle topped ratings for French-language programs in Quebec with 979,000 viewers, followed by the pubcaster’s satirical series Infoman with 951,000 viewers.
In other regions, Citytv’s Canada’s Got Talent (Fremantle, SYCO Entertainment, McGillivray Entertainment Media) and Big Brother Canada appeared on the top 30 list for the Toronto/Hamilton Area at No. 23 and 26, respectively, while in Edmonton, Big Brother Canada tied at No. 29 with U.S. drama Station 19.
HGTV Canada’s unscripted reno series Island of Bryan (Si Entertainment) came in at No. 18 in Calgary and tied with medical drama Grey’s Anatomy at No. 29 in Vancouver/Victoria.
