Production is underway in Montreal on Within These Walls, the feature-length directorial debut of Anne De Léan.

The film is produced by Incendo’s Ian Whitehead and Jean Bureau, with Bureau also serving as executive producer. It is directed by De Léan and written by Barbara Kymlicka, who has penned multiple Incendo-produced films. De Léan has previously picked up two Gémeaux Award nominations for her work on Les Argonautes and Le Steph Show.

Within These Walls follows a single mother who begins to fear for her safety after a break-up with her boyfriend. It stars Jennifer Landon (As the World Turns), Josh Close (Thorne: Sleepyhead) and Tara Redmond Van Rees (Stain).

The film is produced by Incendo, which was acquired by TVA Group earlier this year, in participation with Bell Media.

Incendo films that have gone to camera so far this year include No Good Deed, Glass Houses, Rule of 3 and The Lead.
