Cameras are rolling in Montreal on No Good Deed, produced by Incendo.
The MOW is produced by Incendo president Jean Bureau, who also serves as executive producer, and head of production and development Ian Whitehead.
No Good Deed is directed by frequent Incendo collaborator Caroline Labrèche. She directed Incendo’s Rule of 3 earlier this year and previously helmed the films Thicker Than Water (2018) and Second Opinion (2017). It is written by Doug Barber, who previously penned Incendo films such as FANatic (2017) and Swept Under (2015).
No Good Deed stars Michelle Borth (Shazam!, Hawaii 5-0) as a recent widow who contends with unforeseen consequences when she saves a life during a drug store robbery. Borth co-stars with Canadian actors Mark Rendall (Stockholm) and Cristina Rosato (Mother!).
The film is produced by Incendo in participation with Bell Media. The Montreal prodco was acquired by TVA Group earlier this year in a deal worth $19.5 million.
