Bizable Media has named Lucy Veale as its new director, business affairs and production.
Veale, who recently worked as a business affairs analyst at Dentons Canada, replaces Nava Rastegar at the Toronto-based business, finance and production consultancy firm. At Shaftesbury, she worked on various TV series like The Listener and projects in the company’s digital division. Meanwhile, at Accent, her credits include Sarah Polley’s 2011 feature Take This Waltz and the miniseries The Kids in the Hall: Death Comes to Town.
Bizable’s recent work includes Burden of Truth (eOne/ICF Films/Eagle Vision), which was just renewed for a third season last week, and Hot Docs 2019 opener, nîpawistamâsowin: We Will Stand Up. The company also works on Accent Entertainment’s recently greenlit sketch comedy show TallBoyz (CBC).
