Production set to wrap on Albert Shin’s Clifton Hill

The thriller is produced by Fraser Ash and Kevin Krikst of Rhombus Media, with Elevation set to distribute in Canada.

Production will wrap this week in Niagara Falls, ON on Albert Shin’s psychological thriller Clifton Hill, starring Tuppence Middleton (Sense8) and Hannah Gross (Mindhunter).

Directed by Shin (pictured) and co-written with James Schultz, the drama follows a woman who returns to her hometown in Clifton Hill, Niagara Falls and becomes obsessed with fragmented memories of a kidnapping she claims to have witnessed as a child.

The thriller, which was first unveiled as part of Rhombus Media’s development slate in 2016, is produced by Fraser Ash and Kevin Krikst of Rhombus Media (Enemy, Into The Forest). Niv Fichman serves as executive producer alongside Adrian Love and Omar Chalabi of Elevation Pictures, which is handling distribution in Canada.

Shin’s previous feature credits include In Her Place and copro documentary The Stone Speakers (Canada/Bosnia and Herzegovina), both of which made their world premieres at TIFF.

Clifton Hill also stars director David Cronenberg, Noah Reid, Andy McQueen, Eric Johnson and Marie-Josee Croze. The project also received funding from Telefilm Canada and Ontario Creates and CBC Films.
