CMF renews New Zealand copro incentive

The Canada-New Zealand Digital Media Fund has invested more than $3.5 million in copros since it launched in 2014.

shutterstock_chasing money cashThe Canada Media Fund and NZ On Air have renewed their digital media copro incentive.

Now in its fifth year, the $800,000 fund is open to projects with a target audience of kids aged 12 and under, with a particular focus on kids between five and nine. Both organizations will contribute an equal amount of funding to selected projects.

The CMF and NZ On Air have invested more than $3.5 million in 10 projects since the inception of the Canada-New Zealand Digital Media Fund, including I Spy With My Five Eyes from Canada’s Jam 3 and New Zealand’s Fume TV, The Nations from iThentic and New Zealand’s Thedownlowconcept and We Are The Remarkables, from Canada’s Story2.OH and New Zealand’s Brown Sugar Apple Hunt.
