Production is underway in Montreal on Incendo’s latest project, Mad Mom.
Penned by James Phillips (Kept Woman) and directed by Jean-François Rivard (Série Noire), the feature follows a mother at odds with her soon-to-be daughter-in-law’s mother. Rivard previously directed the Montreal-based prodco’s FANatic and Separated at Birth.
Incendo’s president Jean Bureau (Versailles) serves as a producer on the film along with the company’s head of production and development, Ian Whitehead (The Queen of Sin). Bureau is also an exec producer on the project.
Mad Mom is produced with the participation of Bell Media and stars Romy Rosemont (Glee), Kari Matchett (Covert Affairs) and Victoria Diamond (The Forbidden Room).
Earlier in April, Incendo announced it had started production on another MOW, Mean Queen, from director Philippe Gagnon (Twisted) and writer Barbara Kymlicka (Bad Sister).
