OUTtv, Canada’s LGBTQ network, has commissioned three new series including a dating show, a search for a male underwear model and a fitness program.
The new titles include Sense Appeal from Toronto’s Go Button Media, The Whole Package from Vancouver’s Convergent Entertainment and He’s Fit! from L.A.-based Hey Qween TV.
Go Button Media’s Sense Appeal (10 x 30 minutes) is a studio-based dating series in which singletons put their senses to the test before picking one of their potential matches to take out on a date.
Elsewhere, Convergent Entertainment’s The Whole Package (10 x 30 minutes), goes on a search for a male underwear model. In partnership with underwear brand Dirt Squirrel, contestants compete for a chance to be a model for the brand, a photo spread in DNA Magazine and a cash prize of $5,000.
Health and fitness expert Craig Ramsay, meanwhile, will star in Hey Qween TV’s He’s Fit! (10 x 30 minutes) to challenge some of social media’s posers and jocks in a variety of He’s Fit! challenges, which culminate in the “Final Flex Battle.”
All three shows are slated to bow in fall 2018.
In addition to these new titles, OUTtv has also ordered a fourth season of the competition series Don’t Quit Your Gay Job (pictured) from Convergent Entertainment.
