Sky Vision has signed on to represent 50 hours of factual programming from Peacock Alley Entertainment, in addition to inking an exclusive distribution deal on future programs from the Toronto-based producer.

Peacock Alley was launched in 2012 by Carrie Mudd and Neil Court, and specializes in factual and scripted programs for the U.S. and international markets.

Sky Vision – the distribution arm of the UK broadcaster – is shopping all 50 hours in Cannes. Titles included in the deal are Unusually Thicke (pictured; 28 x 30 minutes), which follows the antics of actor Alan Thicke; Illusions of Grandeur (13 x 30 minutes), featuring rising magician Zack Mirza; Brave New Girls (8 x 30 minutes), on the trials of a transgender beauty queen; and Money Moron (24 x 30 minutes), about a “money guru” who helps others with financial problems.

The company is the latest North American producer to strike such a deal with Sky Vision, following previous pacts with Ugly Brother Studios and Znak & Jones. The distributor has previously inked distribution partnerships with such UK producers as Love Productions (which parent company Sky has a 70% stake in), Hungry Bear Media and Back2Back.
