The Jonny Harris-hosted series, produced by Frantic Films, bowed on CBC this summer.

Still StandingFrantic Films’ Jonny Harris-hosted series Still Standing has been renewed for a second season, CBC announced Monday.

The half-hour series follows Harris as he travels to small towns across Canada and spends a week getting to know the residents of each town and immersing himself in the local culture. He then uses the material gathered during his week-long stay to perform a original stand-up routine for residents.

Season one, which premiered this summer and aired on Tuesday at 9:30 p.m., saw Harris visiting 13 towns, including Coleman, AB, Wawa, ON and Fogo Island, N.L.

Season two of Still Standing is set to bow in 2016. Frantic Films and CBC are currently looking for suggestions from viewers on which towns the cities should visit in season two.
