Entertainment One announced changes in its executive ranks today, with Xavier Trudel and Dan Loewy taking on new roles at the company.
Based out of Montreal, Trudel has been named EVP, television and digital for Entertainment One Films Canada and Les Films Seville and will oversee all operations in that division, including English Canada.
And in Toronto, Loewy takes on the new title of SVP, television and digital, Entertainment One Films Canada. In addition to overseeing the film division’s broadcast and digital business in English Canada, Loewy will also oversee all licensing activities in both linear and digital accounts.
Both execs previously worked with Alliance Films and joined eOne in its 2013 acquisition of Alliance.
In a statement, Patrick Roy, president, eOne Films Canada and Les Films Seville, praised the work of both execs.
“Xavier has a strong track record of strategic leadership and success and has secured valuable partnerships in Québec within the digital sphere. Dan’s expertise and relationships will bring more innovative opportunities to our business. This is a key area of growth and I’m pleased that it is in such trusted and committed hands.”
