Muse to coproduce Vietnam drama for History U.S.

The Montreal-based producer is pacting with A+E Studios on the American war drama.

boysof67coverMuse Entertainment is returning to the American history books for its next TV drama, this time about the men of Charlie Company in Vietnam.

The Montreal-based producer is pacting with A+E Studios on the U.S. war drama now in development at the History channel stateside.

The scripted series, based on The Boys of ’67 and about the first platoon of Charlie Company, the 9th infantry division in Vietnam, is also produced in association with Head First Productions.

Michael Prupas will executive produce for Muse, alongside Jim Head of Head First Productions.

Screenwriter Jeb Stuart will pen and executive produce the series based on the book of the same name by historian Andrew Wiest. Muse earlier co-produced ReelzChannel’s The Kennedys miniseries.
