The Toronto-shot spy series Covert Affairs has been cancelled after five seasons.

USA Network on Tuesday confirmed it is not going forward with the made-in-Canada show, which stars Piper Perabo and Christopher Gorham. It is produced by Universal Cable Productions.

The network’s other Toronto-shot drama, Suits, was greenlit for a fifth season last August.

The cancellation comes as the Toronto production sector is still busy on other foreign and local TV series, including NBCUniversal’s Defiance, Netflix’s Hemlock Grove, and the Canadian-produced Remedy and Dark Matter series.
