In recognition of the opening weekend for one of the biggest book-to-screen adaptations to date, The Hunger Games: Mockingjay 1 (from Vancouver-based Lionsgate) box office measurement service Rentrak this week published a handy infographic outlining some of the most successful franchises and authors in the genre. You won’t find many surprises on the list, but there are a lot of “billions” references to fantasize about.
