Allison Scagliotti, Janet Lo and Cara Gee are to star in Anne Darling, the first of an anthology feature film from co-star and writer/director Norman Yeung.
Yeung plays a writer suffering from writer’s block and seeks sex with a stranger, played by Lo, who reminds him of his mother.
Cameras are set to roll on the film project on Nov. 1.
Anne Darling will be the first in a series of short films to become part of feature-length film of the same title.
Scagliotti co-starred for five seasons in Syfy’s Warehouse 13, which shot in Toronto, while Gee stars in CBC drama Strange Empire.
Anne Darling is produced by Aaron Kopff, Alexander Brodzki, Agi Gutkowska, and coproducer Jamey Sinanan of Electric Train Productions.
