Allan Ungar’s action thriller Gridlocked continues to fill out its big-name cast.

Veteran actors Danny Glover and Richard Gunn (Dark Angels) are the latest additions to the ensemble cast, which is led by Dominic Purcell, Stephen Lang, Vinnie Jones and Cody Hackman.

Ahead of cameras set to roll on Gridlocked in Toronto and London, ON starting July 7, Glover has joined the cast as police chief Sully, while Gunn is to play Maddox, the head of the mercenaries.

The film, which is financed and produced by Hackybox Pictures, will see Purcell play an ex-SWAT leader who is being pursued by a cocky movie star (Hackman).

Together, they must find unity among the surviving members of a training facility that must fight a team of mercenaries.

Ungar is directing Gridlocked based on a script he co-wrote with Rob Robol.
