Bite TV debuts Smiley Guy Studios’ cartoon Warren United

In time for the World Cup, Bite TV is debuting Warren United, an animated sitcom about family, football and fans from indie producer Smiley Guy Studios.

Simon Nye (Men Behaving Badly) and Steve Coogan and Henry Normal’s production shingle, Baby Cow Productions, partnered with Smiley Guy Studios on the animated project.

Bowing on June 23, Warren United follows Warren Kingsley, a kitchen salesman and fan of Brainsford United, who stumbles through life trying to juggle football and his family.

Warren United was created by Bill Freedman, an expat Torontonian in London who is making his TV debut with the animated comedy.

Warren United is voiced by Darren Boyd, Nitin Ganatra, Morgana Robinson and Morwenna Banks.

Jonas Diamond is executive producing for Smiley Guy Studios.
