Bell Media’s BravoFACT invested $250,000 across seven short films in its latest round of funding, including projects from Sophie Jarvis and Kent Nolan.
Films that received financing in the latest round of funding are James Stewart’s Chateau Laurier, Adam Beck’s Early Retirement, Kent Nolan’s Mature Young Adults, Sophie Jarvis’ Penny’s for Tea, Brent Hill’s The Sunshine Tax, Tori Larsen’s Throwing Cotton and Kelly Harms’ What Would Sal Do?
In a June 12 jury meeting, the winning films were selected from a total of 92 applications.
The next deadline for BravoFACT funding is Nov. 7.
