TIFF13: NonStop takes When Jews Were Funny

Ahead of its world premiere tonight at the Toronto International Film Festival, Sweden’s NonStop Entertainment has picked up the Scandanavian, Icelandic and Baltic rights to Alan Zweig’s documentary When Jews Were Funny.

Andrew Herwitz of The Film Sales Company and NonStop director of acquisitions and distribution Jakob Abrahamsson inked the deal after the film’s first P & I screening on Sept. 9.

NonStop plans a limited theatrical release for the film, produced by Jeff Glickman and Jesse Ikeman.
