ACTRA Montreal on Saturday handed out its 2013 annual awards, for outstanding performances in five categories.
Christina Broccolini was tapped for best female performance for her role in Face Divided, while Hell on Wheels‘ Christopher Heyerdahl won for best male performance.
Lucinda Davis received an award for outstanding voice performance, for her role in Supernatural: The Anime Series, while Julian Casey won for outstanding video game performance for his work on Far Cry 3 and for outstanding stunt performance, Patrick Kerton received an award for Everywhere.
Elsewhere, Lea Rondot received honours for best short film Good Coffee, while Susan Glover presented Emma Stevens with the Community Builder award, for her contribution to industry development.
Dave Rigby received ACTRA Montreal’s 2013 Award of Excellence, recognizing his career as a stunt performer and coordinator.
“The measure of anyone’s success in any industry is the legacy they leave behind. Dave helped build the foundation for the world renowned stunt community we have in Montreal today. That is his legacy and that is why he is so deserving of this honour,” said ACTRA Montreal president Don Jordan in a statement.
The 2013 ACTRA Montreal Awards were hosted by comedian Heidi Foss and presented at The Rialto Theatre in Montreal on July 6.
