Toronto-shot Warehouse 13 filming final season this summer

Syfy on Friday announced that the fifth and final season of its flagship series Warehouse 13 will begin production in Toronto this summer.

The final six episodes of the sci-fi series produced by Universal Cable Productions, a division of NBCUniversal, will be broadcast in 2014.

Warehouse 13 follows a group of government agents who work at a top secret facility that houses mysterious relics and artifacts collected by the U.S. government. The team investigates reports of supernatural and paranormal activities and searches for new objects to preserve at the warehouse.

The Toronto-shot series, which airs on Showcase in Canada, stars Saul Rubinek, Eddie McClintock, Joanne Kelly, Allison Scagliotti and Aaron Ashmore.
