Toronto-based Picture Box Distribution has sold extreme competition series Get Stuffed to National Geographic Channels International for its Nat Geo Adventure channels in Australia, New Zealand and pan-Asia.
The series, produced by Vancouver-based Worldwide Bag Media in association with OLN and Rogers Broadcasting in Canada, follows four competitors as they go head to head in strange contests held at assorted unique festivals. The loser of each competition has to eat an extremely large meal – explaining the series title.
“We are thrilled to see Get Stuffed find a home with National Geographic,” said Kate Sanagan, director of sales at Picture Box, in a statement. “It’s a crazy fun-filled show that marries crazy festivals and competition to hilarious effect.”
The series premieres on Nat Geo Adventure this month.
