D Films gets Canuck rights to Paul Haggis’ Third Person

D Films has taken long-term Canadian distribution rights in all media to director Paul Haggis’ Third Person, a feature slated for theatrical released in the fall.

Third Person, a drama which follows three couples as their international love stories intertwine in Rome, Paris, and New York, stars Kim Basinger, Adrien Brody, Liam Neeson, James Franco, Mila Kunis, Olivia Wilde and Maria Bello.

Third Person is currently in production and is expected to hit theatres in fall 2013.

The deal was negotiated by Michael Robson of D Films and for Antwerp, Belgium-based Corsan World Sales by its president Pascal Borno and Alain Gillissen, its head of sales.

D Films is also distributing here in 2013 Blancanieves, Spain’s official entry to the Academy Awards for Best Foreign Film, which is slated for a March release and Revolution, Rob Stewart’s follow up to his international hit documentary Sharkwater, which will hit theatres nationwide on Apr. 12.
