William F. White unveils new senior exec appointments

A busy Canadian film and TV production sector is adding new duties for top executives at William F. White International.

Garin Josey is taking on the role of vice president, as he continues as general manager of WFW Vancouver and overseeing all WFW operations nationally.

Josey was promoted to general manager of WFW Vancouver in December 2011.

And Rick Perotto, vice president and general manager Toronto and business development, is taking on managing WFW Toronto operations.

Perotto, a former IATSE Local 667 business rep, joined WFW in April 2011.

The latest senior executive appointments were unveiled by Paul Bronfman, chairman & CEO of Comweb Corp. and WFW, a leading equipment rental provider for the Canadian film, TV and digital industries.

In other moves, David Hardy, who also joined WFW 16 months ago after working as a business agent for NABET 700 CEP, will take on lobbying duties as vice president, industry & government relations.

Elsewhere, Dan St. Amour, vice president of commercial production services, will return to the commercial market, overseeing the Whites Interactive department he helped launch in 2010.

And Mike Harwood will ensure WFW remains on the leading edge of technological advances as national director of technical support & development, while Jeremy Walsh oversees the lighting and grip maintenance departments as national director, rental maintenance.
