Indie studio Entertainment One has signed a multi-territory film distribution deal with Los Angeles film producer David Linde and India’s Reliance Entertainment.

Entertainment One is to release two to four pictures a year from Linde’s new shingle in Canada, Britain and the Benelux, with the first film to be delivered in late 2012.

Linde, a former Universal Pictures co-chairman, retains a first-look deal with the Hollywood studio for the release of future films in the US and other major international territories.

His new production shingle, still to be named, has backing from India’s Reliance Entertainment.

Besides Entertainment One’s multi-territory deal, Linde has also secured additional distribution deals with Italia Films for the Middle East, Greece and Turkey, Nordisk Film for Scandinavia, Revolutionary Releasing for Eastern Europe, Sun Distribution for Latin America and Tele München Group for Germany and Austria.
