Canadian indie producer Fresh TV has sold the worldwide distribution rights to Really Me to FremantleMedia Enterprises.
The brand extension arm of FremantleMedia also acquired the brand licensing and home entertainment rights, excluding Canada, to the tween live action sitcom.
FremantleMedia Enterprises already handles Fresh TV’s tween comedy My Babysitter’s a Vampire (pictured).
“Fresh TV has done it again with Really Me, bringing a great show with a great cast to television. We are honored to be working with them,” Sander Schwartz, head of dhildren’s and family entertainment at FremantleMedia Enterprises, said in a statement.
Really Me follows the life of a 15-year-old who wins a contest to launch her own reality TV show.
Fresh TV developed the tween comedy for Family Channel in Canada.
Executive producers are Tom McGillis, Jennifer Pertsch, Brian Irving and George Elliot.
Brian Roberts directed Really Me, and serves as its creative producer.
