Veteran actor Tom Berenger is to guest star in the thriller series XIII from Prodigy Pictures and French partner Europacorp Television.

Berenger will play a mysterious European industrialist in the one-hour action drama to bow this April on Showcase in Canada.

Prodigy on Friday added that a U.S. broadcast slot for the Canadian-French co-production, which stars Stuart Townsend, is likely to be unveiled in the next few weeks.
