Vallée ready for Love

Jean-Marc Vallée has reportedly cast Kate Bosworth in his next project, which is expected to recall the mood of this 2005 breakout C.R.A.Z.Y. Bosworth (21, Superman Returns) is attached to star in and, with Relativity Media, will produce Lost Girls and Love Hotels, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The story is an adaptation of the 2006 novel by Catherine Hanrahan, and casts Bosworth as a western woman trying to forget her past, via excessive sex and drugs, while working in Tokyo.

The ‘gritty yet vibrant’ vibe is expected to reflect the edge of Vallée’s C.R.A.Z.Y., about growing up gay in 1970s Quebec.

Vallée’s The Young Victoria is due on screens in Canada and in the U.S. on Dec. 18, through Alliance Films and GK Films, respectively. He and producer Pierre Even are also attached to the spooky love story Café de flore.
