Canadians win Daytime Emmys

Canadians held ground at the 27th annual Daytime Emmy Awards, presented May 13 in l.a.

William Joyce’s Rolie Polie Olie, coproduced by Nelvana and Disney, took home the award for outstanding special class animated program.

Rick Morden pocketed the award for outstanding achievement in single camera editing for Devine Entertainment’s The Artists’ Specials: Mary Cassatt: American Impressionist.

Temple Street Productions’ Summer’s End picked up the award for outstanding children’s special and performance in a children’s special (James Earl Jones). Cinar’s Arthur won for outstanding achievement in sound mixing – special class (Benoit Coallier).
