Bargoon.com, the latest online product from Halifax-based Salter Street Films subsidiary Salter New Media, has increased its registrant base from 25 to 500 since its launch on Jan. 15.
Bargoon.com is an Internet auction/shopping site running every hour of every day focusing on local markets. Salter is planning to launch a Bargoon.com for Toronto on Feb. 20 and Boston in the near future.
Salter New Media’s other products since launching in August ’98 include satirical news site 22online.com and Canadian-Investor.com.
