– Atlantis revenues up in second quarter

Atlantis Communications has announced increased revenues, net earnings and earnings per share for the second quarter ended June 30.

Net earnings for the quarter increased to $659,000 up from $418,000 during the same period in ’97. On a per share basis, second-quarter net earnings increased by 25% to $0.05 from $0.04. The increase in second-quarter net earnings were due to continued growth in operations in both the television and cable channel broadcasting business segments.

The second-quarter revenue reflects the delivery of 14 hours of tv programs, compared to 13 delivered in second quarter 1997.
