Diana, Princess of Wales, will attend a June aids charity benefit screening of Robert Lepage’s Genie-winning film Le Confessionnal in London.

The film is the first Canada/u.k./ France coproduction to be shot in French. Producers include Denise Robert and Sir David Puttnam.

The royal benefit screening will be held at the Lumiere Cinema, followed by a limited commercial release in England by Artificial Eye, distributor of Denys Arcand’s past three films as well as Atom Egoyan’s Exotica.
