CBC has picked up eight-part digital series NarcoLeap to stream on its CBC TV app.

Produced by Vancouver’s KGP Films, the series follows a young narcoleptic woman who discovers that during her lucid dreams she’s inhabiting the bodies of real people across the world. Created by executive producer and director Kate Green, NarcoLeap was written by David Schmidt. Producers on the project are Emily Keller and Ross Vivian.

All eight episodes, which range from eight to 15 minutes in length, are available to stream on the app now.

NarcoLeap stars Chelsey Reist (The 100), as well as Aleks Paunovic (Van Helsing), Nicole Oliver (Wonder), Madison Smith (Aftermath) and Austin Eckert (The Flash). It shot in Vancouver in February.

The series was funded by the Independent Production Fund, Telus Storyhive, Creative BC and was developed through Women in the Director’s Chair’s Story and Leadership program.
