Paranormal docuseries The Other Side, produced by Angel Entertainment and Redcloud Studios, is headed to a fifth season on APTN.

Filming began earlier this week in Halifax, with the remainder of the two-month shoot set to take place across various parts of Atlantic Canada.

The fifth season of the series has been renewed ahead of the season four premiere, which bows this fall on APTN.

Produced by Angel’s Wally Start and Redcloud’s Jennifer Podemski, The Other Side follows a team of paranormal investigators who, with the guidance of a Nēhiyaw (Cree) Elder Tom Charles, search for the truth behind real life hauntings and the most unsettled spirits.

Angel Entertainment, based in Saskatoon, was founded by Bob Crowe and Start in 2000. The company’s other production credits include the feature film The Big Muddy (2014). Crowe, a long-time CMPA board member and active member of the industry, passed away in December. Redcloud, based in Toronto, is headed up by Podemski, whose other production credits include the feature Empire of Dirt (2013).
