Toronto’s Breakthrough Entertainment has sold a number of titles to international broadcasters, including its kids TV movie L.M. Montgomery’s Anne of Green Gables and Charles Manson: The Final Words.

Produced by Breakthrough in 2015, L.M Montgomery’s Anne (1 x 90 minutes) has sold to Fox Channels Asia, RAI in Italy and RTVE in Spain. The MOW originally aired on YTV in Canada and PBS in the U.S.

The producer/distributor also announed it has sold Charles Manson: The Final Words to UKTV in the U.K. and A&E Networks Italy. Produced by Calgary’s Pyramid Productions, the two-hour docudrama is narrated by Rob Zombie and features the convicted murderer’s last interview. In December 2017, Breakthrough acquired worldwide rights to the doc, which aired on Reelz in the U.S.

In addition, Breakthrough has sold its six-part series Hollywood Homicide (6 x 60 minutes) to UKTV and Canal+ in France. It’s also secured deals for Resilient Cities (16 x 30 minutes), which sold to KCETLink in the U.S. and Sky in Germany.
