Cameras roll on Someone Else’s Wedding

The dramatic comedy from writer-director Pat Kiely stars Jessica Pare (pictured) and Kathleen Turner.

Jessica PareProduction is underway in Montreal on writer-director Pat Kiely’s Someone Else’s Wedding.

The dramatic comedy is produced by Toronto’s CCI Productions, Montreal’s Banner Films, Dewitville, Q.C.-based Vroom Productions and Toronto’s Alley Lime Productions.

The film follows a fractured family forced to deal with old issues at their eldest son’s wedding. The ensemble cast includes Kathleen Turner (Body Heat), Kevin Zegers (Aftermath), Jessica Pare (Mad Men), Jacob Tierney (Lovesick), Jessica Parker Kennedy (50/50), Luke Kirby (Take This Waltz), Wallace Shawn (The Princess Bride) and Frances Fisher (Woman in Gold).

Kiely will produce the film alongside Vroom’s Robert Vroom, Alley Lime’s Philip Svoboda and CCI’s Arnie Zipursky. Zipursky recently produced the documentary Sled Dogs, which picked up the World Documentary Award at the Whistler Film Festival.

Jeff Sackman and Berry Meyerowitz will executive produce and handle international sales rights.
