Blue Ant International has sold four Canadian-produced series to Discovery networks in various territories.

Discovery Family channel in the U.S. picked up home design series Post My Party (13 x 30 minutes), produced by Toronto’s General Purpose Entertainment.

Meanwhile Discovery Networks Latin America/U.S. Hispanic (DLA/USH) acquired Our House Media-produced series Paranormal Survivor (20 x 60 minutes). The factual entertainment show, originally produced for Blue Ant’s T+E channel, has now been sold into 186 territories globally, according to Blue Ant.

DLA/USH also picked up Holiday Makeover (6 x 30 minutes), which Blue Ant Media produces in house. The seasonal decoration series was originally made for Blue Ant’s Makeful channel.

Season two of Live Here, Buy This! was also acquired by Discovery for its female-targeted Hispanic channel Discovery Familia. The show, produced by Toronto’s JV Productions for HGTV, looks at homes throughout the world that are a financial match for a Canadian couple.

The announcement comes ahead of the international market MIP Cancun, which runs from Nov. 16 to 18. Blue Ant will be shopping more 600 hours of its library at the event.
