Copied from Kidscreen - LearnToDrawA week after adding four new series to its catalog, Toronto’s Picture Box Distribution has picked up a number of titles from Norwegian entertainment company Earthtree Media.

Picture Box is now distributing Earthtree’s live-action and animated franchises Learn to Draw and Box Yourself in Canada, the U.S., Latin America, Australia and New Zealand.

Both properties feature cartoonist Øistein Kristianson encouraging preschoolers and young kids to participate in various arts & craft-based activities. Live-action series Learn to Draw, Learn to Draw ABC, Box Yourself and Box Yourself Minis, along with one-minute, 2D-animated short series Learn to Draw Minis, are part of the deal.

Founded by Kristiansen in 1993, Earthtree Media produces TV shows, books, eBooks, apps and live events that focus on creativity and art for children and their families. Last month, Thailand’s Bec World  licensed the prodco’s Learn to Draw and Wild About Cartoons series from Singapore-based producer/distributor Bomanbridge Media.
