Toronto-based 9 Story Entertainment has inked new broadcast deals for Nerds and Monsters, the animated comedy (40 x 11 minutes) from Vancouver and L.A.-based animation studio Slap Happy Cartoons.

The show has just been sold to TVE (Spain), Canal+ Family (France and Africa), E-Junior (UAE), Noga (Isreal) and MBC Kids (Middle East). They join existing broadcast partners CiTV (UK) and ABC TV (Australia).

Most recently, Nerds and Monsters was greenlit for a second season by Canada’s YTV. Season one debuted on the Corus-owned net earlier this year.

9 Story continues on a roll after securing further financing for expansion in mid-July.
