Bell Media, Shaw and Blue Ant have announced premiere dates for some of their highest-profile new series this week.

Bravo’s 19-2, an English-language adaption of the popular French-language police drama, History’s Hardcore Heroes, a factual miniseries and the return of Survivorman to television on Travel + Escape have all been assigned homes in the January schedule.

On Jan. 29, Bravo is giving a boost to its new original drama by placing it as the 9 p.m. lead-in to the season two premiere of Homeland at 10 p.m.

Produced by Sphere Media Plus and Echo Media, 19-2 stars Jared Keeso and Adrian Holmes. Bruce Smith,  Jocelyn Deschênes, Luc Châtelain, Carolyn Newman, Luc Chatelain, Jesse Mckeown and Virginia Rankin executive produce. The one-hour drama is based on two unwilling partners of the Montréal Police Department, thrown together after the death of one officer’s partner.

Ahead of the Jan. 29 bow, Bravo today released the official poster for 19-2, featuring Keeso as officer Ben Chartier and Holmes as Nick Barron.

The original French-language series 19-2 took home nine Gemeaux Awards earlier this year.

On Shaw’s History channel, Proper Television’s Hardcore Heroes is set to premiere Monday, Jan. 6 at 8 p.m. An hour-long, six-episode series, Hardcore Heroes tells the stories of real life legends who risk everything they have to save the day.

In an interesting schedule rivalry, Les Stroud’s Survivorman will battle Heroes with 10 new episodes on Travel + Escape, also premiering Monday, Jan. 6 at 8 p.m. Returning after a long and successful run on OLN, Stroud’s show follows the adventurer as he is dropped in remote locations and uses his wits to survive. Some of the episodes will also co-star his son Logan.

The channel will also debut two other Canadian-made series in the new year. Premiering on Jan. 16 at 10:30 pm., Inside Paradise goes behind the scenes and focuses on a group of tourist trade insiders in St. Martin, trying to generate a year’s worth of income in four months.

On Monday, Jan. 20 at 10:30 pm., Thrift Hunters premieres, following the exploits of Jason T. Smith and Bryan Goodman as they spend their days hitting garage sales, thrift stores and flea markets and re-sell them for more cash online.
