Michelle Mylett is starring in writer/director Chad Archibald’s next movie, which has a working title The Drownsman.

Mylett plays the role of Madison who, after almost drowning in a lake, finds herself bound to a life of fear fed by an abnormal fear of water.

The Drownsman re-teams Archibald and fellow screenwriter Cody Calahan and executive producer Breakthrough Entertainment, who were behind the crime horror thriller Antisocial.

The film, the second in a trilogy of horror movies from indie producer Black Fawn Films, is shooting in Guelph, Ontario for 17 days.

The ensemble cast includes Gemma Bird Matheson, Caroline Korycki, Sydney Kondruss, Clare Bastable and Ryan Barrett as The Drownsman.

Christopher Giroux is producing.

Breakthrough Entertainment has the world distribution rights to the picture.
