Tricon Films & Television will be shopping the IFC original scripted comedies The Birthday Boys and The Spoils of Babylon at MIPCOM.

Tricon, which has the exclusive worldwide distribution rights to IFC original programming, was at the international TV market last year with two other IFC titles, Comedy Bang! Bang!, hosted by Scott Aukerman, and Bunk, a comedy game show.

This year, the Canadian distributor will handle ten half-hours of The Birthday Boys, executive produced by Breaking Bad‘s Bob Odenkirk and Ben Stiller and featuring a  Los Angeles comedy team that includes Jefferson Dutton, Dave Ferguson, Mike Hanford and Tim Kalpakis.

The Spoils of Babylon, comprising six half-hours, is a scripted comedy miniseries based on Eric Jonrosh’s best-selling novel of the same name, and starring Tim Robbins and Kristen Wiig.
