In the list of “Top 10 to Watch” why don’t I see screenwriter Patty Jones listed? This girl won a Nicholl’s Fellowship award in Screenwriting. In order to win this, you need to be in the top 5 out of 7,251 feature length screenplays. She is only the 4th or 5th Canadian in the 25 year history of the fellowship to win this award. This is the biggest and most important screenwriting competition in the world, operated by The Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences in Los Angeles, California.
