Alberta to host movie slate production by XII Tribes Entertainment

The films, to be financed in part by Archeos Entertainment, will be distributed worldwide by Los Angeles-based Vision Films.

Montreal-based indie Archeos Entertainment is to help finance a movie slate to be shot in Alberta by Canadian producer XII Tribes Entertainment.

The slate deal will see feature films, to range in budget from from $3 million to $15 million, will be distributed worldwide by Los Angeles-based Visions Films.

The agreement, unveiled by Vision Films, was finalized during the recent Cannes film market, by Lise Romanoff, Vision Films’ managing director, Michel Zgarka, executive chairman and Ysé Brisson for XII Tribes.

“Vision Films is thrilled to be cementing our relationship with XII Tribes,” said Romanoff in a statement.

“XII Tribes expertise in production in combination with Vision Films’ expertise in worldwide distribution will allow for us to produce content in Canada that has great global appeal,” she added.
